A successful Knowledge Management Strategy should:
- Support the overall business strategy
- Support core value creation processes
- Focus on where value can be created internally in the Business and externally for Customers
- Prioritize KM initiatives based on ROI, where possible
- Produce measurable results
- Embed KM initiatives into existing business processes vs. creating new stand-alone processes
